What are possessive pronouns in French?
Possessive pronouns are used to indicate to whom the word they replace belongs to.
French possessive pronouns are used in the same circumstances as the English ones. The only difference between them is that the French possessive pronouns are not only changing for each person, but also take the genre and the number of the words they replace. In fact, each English possessive pronoun has four equivalents in French!
